Making first aid kits easy to find

In an emergency, nobody should have to search for the first aid kit. The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide first aid equipment and to make sure people know where it is. A clear first aid box sign above or beside each kit does exactly that.

Where to put them

Directly above wall-mounted first aid kits.
On cupboard doors where kits are stored inside.
In kitchens, workshops and other higher-risk areas.
In company vehicles that carry a first aid kit.

Pair first aid box signs with first aider and directional first aid signs so people know who to call and where to go.
