AED Signs

Defibrillator (AED) signs that show where your automated external defibrillator is kept, using the BS EN ISO 7010 E010 symbol. Printed on self adhesive vinyl.

Why defibrillator signs matter

Every minute without defibrillation reduces the chance of surviving a cardiac arrest. A defibrillator only helps if people can find it quickly, so clear signs on the approach routes and at the cabinet itself are essential. BS EN ISO 7010 sets a standard AED symbol, a heart with a lightning bolt and cross, recognised across the UK and Europe.

Where to put them

  • Directly above the defibrillator or its cabinet.
  • At building entrances and receptions, pointing the way.
  • On main corridors and at changes of direction.

Register your defibrillator with The Circuit, the national defibrillator network, so ambulance services can direct callers to it.
