About this sign

A reversible event route sign showing left and right arrows, for courses that double back or turn on both sides. Organisers can use the same design at several points rather than ordering one sign per direction.

Fit at forks and out and back sections where participants may need pointing either way. Fix to posts along the course and check each one faces the people coming toward it.

Sizes and approximate viewing distance

  • 200 x 300 mm: readable at up to about 11 m
  • 400 x 600 mm: readable at up to about 22 m

Printed in-house in the UK on self adhesive vinyl. Peel and stick to a clean, dry, flat surface. Check wording and placement against your own risk assessment before ordering.

Which regulation requires it

General duties rather than a single regulation. Most information and wayfinding signage is not individually mandated. It supports the general duty under section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 to provide information and supervision, and accessibility signage may engage the Equality Act 2010.

General guidance, not legal advice. Whether a given sign is required at your premises depends on your own risk assessment.
