Keep Out Notices

Keep out signs give a short, direct instruction to stay away from a hazardous area. Each pairs a location, such as a construction site, high voltage equipment, a mine site or an open pit, with a heading of caution, danger or notice that reflects how serious the risk is.

They are used on perimeter fencing, gates, trench and excavation edges, and around electrical equipment.

Pick a size that can be read before someone reaches the boundary. Keep out signs support other controls such as fencing and locks, and they do not replace a risk assessment.
