About this sign

Floor Level E signage, printed to order in the UK and supplied ready to fit.

Information signage sets expectations for staff and visitors at the point where it matters.

UK employers have duties under the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996 to provide safety signage where a significant risk remains after other control measures have been applied. Check wording, size and placement against your own risk assessment before ordering.

Which regulation requires it

General duties rather than a single regulation. Most information and wayfinding signage is not individually mandated. It supports the general duty under section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 to provide information and supervision, and accessibility signage may engage the Equality Act 2010.

General guidance, not legal advice. Whether a given sign is required at your premises depends on your own risk assessment.
